Bo tweeted the message below in a reply to johnfox88 who took exception with Mullen's assertion that the Bulldog's season was successful. I imagine johnfox88 felt this was a overstatement because of the losses to Auburn, LSU, Alabama, and Arkansas for the third year in a row.
Bo was quick to fire back in defense of Mullen. But he chose not to cite Mullen's 21 wins in 3 seasons (his go-to stat to quiet Mullen-haters), and instead quoted his salary as evidence of his success and knowledge of "what he's doing."
Error. Divide by Zero. |
That is so perfect. I want to frame this and hang it over my desk as a daily reminder to myself of how Bo's brain works.
I hope this goes without saying but in case it isn't: just because someone is a millionaire, doesn’t make them good at their job. I don’t have time to list all of the politicians, heads of financial institutions, movie stars and radio hosts that are overpaid but still shitty at their jobs. Just kidding. I do have time.
I mainly wanted to highlight a prime example of the tortured logic Bo uses every morning to discuss football. Oh, and that 2.6 MEE-yon dollars would've been Mullen's 2011 salary regardless of his record.
Using Bo's logic, Houston Nutt was must have been pretty damn smart too.
