News Flash: Bo has written a new post on yallsports. I say this is news because I assume no one has read it. I don’t really have time to get into it, but I do want to point out this little disclaimer that appears at the bottom:
FYI, Bo is not a journalist and doesn’t claim to be one, and he wrote this blog in five minutes while sipping on a Dos Equis. If that bothers you – get over it.
I wonder if it has anything to do with my last post? Kind of a catty response, huh? On the air, Bo regularly mentions that he his hate emails and the message board warriors that tear him down. But this here just seems like insecurity. I would never have guessed that he has such thin skin. Really sort of shocking for someone who is paid to opinionate on a talk radio show.
Listen up Bo, we know you’re not a journalist (trust me; no one is making that mistake). And it’s quite obvious that you’re not overly concerned about little things like research or facts.
It doesn’t bother me that you wrote this is 5 minutes while drinking beer. It bothers me that you think it’s good. Or maybe that you don’t care enough to make it good. It doesn’t matter if you wrote this on your Samsung Galaxy 3AM on your dock while you finished a bottle of cathead vodka. If you put your name on something then fucking OWN it. I mean, at least try to give a shit.
If you can’t do that then focus your thoughts elsewhere. I mean that’s why you have a fucking radio show. I don’t hear anyone walking around town wishing they had just a little bit of extra Bo Bounds in their week.
So, maybe you should just fall back a bit on the blog posts. And just a suggestion, but let Austin proofread your stuff before you throw it up on the internet.
